Digital Broadcast Production
Digital Broadcast is designed to train students interested in television, radio production, and new media careers by providing them with a solid foundation in technical skills, storytelling, and industry knowledge. Hands-on, real-life exposure to industry standards is emphasized to ensure students are well-prepared for the demands of modern broadcasting and digital media environments.
Public Relations & Advertising
Public Relations/Advertising is designed to prepare students for dynamic public relations and advertising careers by equipping them with essential skills in strategic communication, creative campaign development, media planning, and audience engagement, ensuring they can effectively navigate and contribute to the ever-evolving industry landscape.
Multimedia Journalism
Multimedia Journalism is designed for students who are interested in social media, new media, digital media, and print, radio and television careers. Students are encouraged to gain experience through membership in the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). There are two award-winning on-campus student-run publications.
