Last weekend, I had the opportunity to go to the Orlando Magic game vs Washington Wizards. I was selected to go to the game from my school, Bethune-Cookman University, as a Mass Communications student. Since changing my major to Mass Communications, I have been very productive and busy. I love it!
The opportunity was a great experience. I had press credentials, and I had a chance to ask the coach a question in the press conference. Everybody in the room was impressed with my confidence because I was confident doing press with professionals in the field. I got a chance to network and meet a lot of important people. I met people who work for NBC, I also met people who work for the Washington Wizards. I also was able to meet former NBA players who played in the NBA a long time ago.
I had never been to an Orlando Magic basketball game, and it was very exciting for me because I love basketball. We were able to experience the press box. It was a beautiful, sunny day in Orlando, Florida. Everybody at the game seemed to be having a great time and enjoying the game, and Orlando won, beating the Wizards 110-90. I would go to another Orlando Magic game.
